Through the Canadian Lung Association, there is financial support for home radon mitigation.
You may be eligible for up to $1,500 towards radon mitigation.
This is a recent resource that few people know about, the Canadian Lung Association’s Radon Mitigation grant is available through the entire country.
Every region in Canada has some homes with elevated levels of radon. If you live in a home with a high level of radon, you are at risk - radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in Canada.
The good news is that reducing radon in your home is straightforward.

Are you eligible?
In order to be eligible for funding, applicants must:
- have been diagnosed with lung cancer or
- be from low- or moderate-income households (priority will be given to low-income households).
